Raw sparks live here first. Messy is fine. Clarity comes later.
Seed Notes
1. Truth over comfort
- If it costs truth, it's too expensive.
- Where am I still softening reality to avoid disapproval?
- What does truth look like when it is clean, not cruel?
2. Legacy
- My legacy is not what I build. It's what my children become able to mirror without unlearning me.
- This may be the central line.
- Legacy is behavioral, not reputational.
3. Fatherhood
- Give the kids armour to not need rescuing.
- Protect their light without making them fragile.
- Model the behavior. Don't sermon it.
- What does masculine safety feel like to a child?
4. Partnership
- She deserves the best of me, not the rest of me.
- Marriage is made every morning.
- Permanent honeymoon = fascination over familiarity.
- What habits keep love vivid instead of assumed?
5. Ambition
- How do I build boldly without rebuilding my life around stress?
- The survival war is won. So what is ambition for now?
- Build from overflow, not deficit.
6. Strength
- What is strength without hardness?
- How do I stay powerful without armoring so heavily that love can't get in?
- Receiving is safe now — but do I actually live like that's true?
7. Structure and freedom
- I don't need motivation. I need structure that removes negotiation.
- Structure creates freedom for an ADHD brain.
- How do I avoid turning structure into another form of self-punishment?
8. Beginnerhood
- Part of me would rather quit than be witnessed as a beginner.
- Foiling is not just sport; it's identity work.
- What else in my life am I avoiding because I don't want to look average?
9. Useful questions
- What is a good man when nobody needs him?
- What parts of my current identity are adaptive armor that no longer fit the life I'm in?
- Where am I still living like love is conditional?
- What does a life of congruence feel like on an ordinary Tuesday?
10. Dan Koe pull-through
- You don't need a niche, you need a point of view.
- Personal niche may just be identity made legible.
- Worth is not negotiated through conformity.
- Individuality is not branding; it is the consequence of living unedited.
- Your life and work should emerge from self-knowledge, not market conformity.
11. Matthew McConaughey pull-through
- Do not choose success criteria that antagonize your soul.
- Identity gets clearer when I stop cooperating with what I am not.
- Live in a way that makes the future memory worth having.
- Choose your hill consciously.
- Winning starts when I stop negotiating with the challenge.
12. Tony Robbins pull-through
- Tasks are weak fuel; purpose creates motion.
- Planning should begin with meaning, not admin.
- Before solving the problem, shift the state.
- Momentum is often a state problem disguised as a character problem.
- Lasting change needs leverage, not just preference.
- Name the pattern, interrupt the pattern, rehearse the replacement.
- Behavior stabilizes when identity stops arguing with it.
13. The Four Agreements pull-through
- My word should reduce distortion, not create it.
- Other people's reactions are not always instructions.
- Clarity is kinder than story-making.
- Ask the real question before building a private narrative.
- My best is measured by integrity, not intensity.
- Honest effort beats performative perfection.
14. Dan Martell pull-through
- Buy back time before buying more complexity.
- Growth that steals presence is too expensive.
- The point of leverage is to reclaim life, not just scale tasks.
- Reclaimed time must be reinvested deliberately, or it will be wasted accidentally.
- My calendar should reflect my gifts, not my guilt.
- If the business depends on me for everything, I do not own it; it owns me.
- Energy is a strategic asset, not a side effect.
