Current thesis

Love is not maintenance mode. Love dies in assumption and comes alive in attention.

The work is not just to stay loyal, but to stay awake.

Core lines

  • She deserves the best of me, not the rest of me.
  • Marriage is made every single morning.
  • Treat every day like the first, and there will be no last.
  • Presence is a form of devotion.

What I believe

  • Familiarity is useful, but dangerous when it becomes unconsciousness.
  • Real love requires fascination, honesty, and emotional leadership.
  • Coasting is slow relational death.
  • The goal is not intensity all the time; it is aliveness.

Questions

  • What keeps love vivid instead of efficient?
  • Where do I withhold truth to preserve temporary peace?
  • What does devotion look like on ordinary days?

In practice

  • Notice Jess freshly, not historically.
  • Say the thing while it is alive, not later when it is tidy.
  • Protect the relationship from becoming the leftover zone.
